The rather brilliant Irish Spring Angling Fair is next weekend (29th and 30th April 2023), and they have even gone and asked me back!
Yep, I am getting to go to Ireland again a bit earlier in the year than I would usually expect to, and as you can imagine I am rather excited. The second Irish Spring Angling Fair is next weekend - Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April 2023 - and in the organisers’ mighty wisdom they have asked me to come back and do some demonstrations and talks and so on. Thank you so much and I hope to see some of you there…………….
The inaugural Irish Spring Angling Fair took place last year and I know that the people involved with putting it on were really pleased with how it all went. It was a blast. This year it’s going to be even bigger and better and I can only hope that my being there will be a positive for them! I love catching up with the Irish lads I know who will be exhibiting and demoing and doing talks etc., but also it’s a great chance to speak to loads of anglers and get horribly overexcited about the bass fishing year ahead. For sure it’s a fairly long drive and ferry crossing for only a few days, but you know me - any chance to spend some time in Ireland is time extremely well spent in my book.
If you are anywhere near Waterford in Ireland next weekend then please come along to this fantastic show. It’s at the Ardaire Springs Angling Centre, indeed I can’t recall a fishing show that has a better location than right on a fantastic trout fishery - where I might or might not be “testing” various bass lures out on some rather large trout! All in the name of research of course. Hope to see some of you there, have a good weekend and see you next week…………..
