I’m in hospital because I had a severe heart attack yesterday

Please bear with me here because I have never done a blog on my phone. I somewhat unexpectedly had a severe heart attack yesterday morning and was blue-lighted into Derriford Hospital where they operated on me immediately. They have put a stent in and I am very grateful that they sorted me out and I guess saved my life……………

My wife and girls were in the Isle of Wight and I had to call my wife to say I was having a heart attack. Poor girl, I felt awful making that call, but they managed to get an earlier ferry and came to see me in hospital last night. My poor mum doesn’t need this at all. 

Anyway, I never thought I’d be writing this sort of blog post but I would rather you know in case I’m not posting so much for a bit. I’m going to do exactly what they tell me to do as regards recovery, and I aim to come back stronger than ever. No fishing or running for a while I guess!
