Heading over to Ireland today, going fishing where I do my guiding work - we also have a few spaces left on our guided fishing trips
About 10pm tonight I should arrive in Kerry, SW Ireland, and although I am more used to doing this journey for my guiding work, this time it’s different. Some friends are booked up with Thatch Cottage fishing lodge and they very kindly asked me to come along and fish with them. Excited, moi? Damn right! I will go for a run tomorrow morning, get myself organised, and see if I can sneak in a quick bass session before the lads arrive tomorrow afternoon…………
I will obviously shoot photos and so on out there, but this time I am going to get to fish my socks off where John and I do our guiding work together. I have also got my eye on a few different locations I want to see if I can get a bit of a feel for. I am taking a few lure rods with me that we have been working on for a while, plus some sample lures and so on. As per usual I will try and keep this blog updated with some photos and reports, but please forgive me if I am not as regular as usual. I know it’s going to get hectic with the fishing and lack of time.
