Are you interested in audio or visual types of blog posts?

I never stop thinking about this kind of stuff, but after listening to the latest episode of the excellent “The Lure Fishing Podcast” from Cormac Walsh where he is talking to Marc Cowling of South Devon Bass Guide, it really kicked my brain into gear. If you haven’t listened to this specific episode of this excellent podcast then I would urge you to do so - you can listen directly via this link here - because Cormac and Marc talk about so much interesting bass lure fishing related stuff.

As I said on a Facebook post the other day when I finished listening to it, “I don't want to embarrass Marc Cowling, but in my humble opinion he is currently the best "bass lure fishing" mind out there. There are a number of very good bass anglers out there - Marc included - but it's Marc's fishing skill combined with an analytical brain AND a very generous urge to communicate all that he knows and continues to learn about bass fishing to the likes of you and me. If this one single podcast episode doesn't inspire you to get out there lure fishing for bass as much as you can this year and try lots of different stuff then you are listening to a different audio source to me. Inspirational, fascinating, so much information handed over, huge respect from me and a big thank you lads. To be able to call these guys my friends is a privilege”.

What I wanted to talk to you about today was this - please have a quick watch of this short video clip I recorded this morning and tell me if my ideas are of any interest to you. You might have noticed that I love to write about fishing, but I have to also recognise that a lot of people simply will not read for very long at all. I also love yapping about fishing and for a long time now I have been wondering whether I should be doing more audio or visual style blog posts on here. I don’t know if it will work but I am keen to give it a go. Please tell me what you think in the comments below, or send me an email via the Contact Me page at the top of this page. Many thanks.
