A few lure related Black Friday offers I found on Veals Mail Order
Please gloss straight over today’s blog post if you have a good level of self-control or if it bothers you that most of the affiliate links I use on this blog and website link to the rather good Veals Mail Order. Don’t know what an affiliate link is? If you click on one of my affiliate links and buy something through it, I get a small commission from the sale - which doesn’t cost you anymore (the retailer takes the hit), there isn’t some deep conspiracy going on, and I am not about to retire from any proceeds!
You might have noticed that I always put a disclaimer at the bottom of a blog post if an affiliate link is used. Not all links on this website and blog are of the affiliate nature, and I only link to gear I know and use, or have used myself for my own fishing. Now that is out of the way, I found a few lure related bits and pieces on the Veals site which I have fished with and which are on special Black Friday prices. Even though it’s Monday………….
BlueBlue Scarnash 120F (120mm, 18g), £13.99 instead of the usual £19.99: reminds me a lot of the brilliant IMA Sasuke 120, this BlueBlue Scarnash 120F caught me a few nice bass when I was fishing with it. Absolutely flies, some good colours, very grippy in bouncier seas, loads of typical hard lure action even at a slow retrieve speed. There is a larger 140F version of this lure on sale as well, but I haven’t fished with this one.
BlueBlue Aizer 125F (125mm, 22g), £13.99 instead of the usual £19.99: long-casting, very shallow-diving, reminds me of the killer IMA Komomo SF-125. Didn’t seem to affect the action when I removed the middle treble, for a shallow-diver this BlueBlue Aizer 125F has got a lot of presence in the water.
Seadra double-sided washable lure box, £3.99 instead of the usual £6.99: I am lost without these types of lure boxes, and especially this specific design where the slots run across horizontally instead of the more usual vertically. This is how I carry my soft plastics.
Seadra Surface Launcer surface lure (165mm 19g), £9.99 instead of the usual £13.99: missile! Very easy to work, some good colours, covers a huge amount of water, I like it for calmer to starting to get a bit more lively conditions.
Disclosure - if you buy anything using links found in this blog post or around my website, I may make a commission. It doesn’t cost you any more to buy via these affiliate links - and please feel entirely free not to do so of course - but it will help me to continue producing content. Thank you.
